Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We currently have a vacancy for a part-time Research Programme Coordinator to join our team.
This position is dedicated to supporting a large, five-year MBIE-funded project Te Moana Mahana : Ocean change forecasting for climate resilience in Aotearoa, which runs until 30 September
This role involves providing effective coordination and operational support across the project, including assisting researchers, subcontractors, and students with project management, research support services, and operational pre-and post-award processes.
Responsibilities
Strong interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Proactive, self-managed workload and initiative.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong written communication.
Organise and coordinate events, with prior experience preferred.
Experience with financial systems and managing project budgets.
Experience working in a complex and diverse environment.
Experience in research project / programme administration.
Enjoy working collaboratively and have flexibility to adapt and work effectively in a variety of situations.
This is a part-time
Remuneration : $63,600 – $79,300 pro rata, dependent on experience.
About the team
Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification and experience supporting academic or research staff.
You will also have previous experience with project administration or coordination and navigating complex administrative systems.
