Auckland Council is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Programme Coordinator to join our team in the new Auckland Urban Development Office. As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Priority Location Director and team members in effectively planning, monitoring, and reporting on programme and project progress. You will maintain high‑quality programme and project management standards while providing technical support and guidance to Project Leads and the Priority Location Director.

Day‑to‑day you could expect to work on :

• Programme Planning : Provide support and programme / project information required in the ongoing planning and refinement of programme plans.
• Programme Monitoring and Reporting : Assist in monitoring programme and project progress, ensuring timely sharing of information regarding timelines, goals, costs, benefits, changes, and risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to shape Auckland’s future growth and resilience.
• Quality assurance : Provide guidance, assistance, audit and review of programme and project information and documentation.
• Secretariat Support : Support the Location Director and managers in ensuring effective decision‑making processes by organising and coordinating meetings, preparing presentations, and monitoring the governance framework.
