Job Overview
The Centre for eResearch (CeR) is a university platform that provides digital research and AI capabilities across Waipapa Taumata Rau, the University of Auckland. Our mission is to develop and apply computer and information technologies to research and help researchers across the whole university to effectively use them.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a self‑motivated person with a broad understanding of a research‑led university environment and experience supporting researchers across the university community. You will bring skills and passion from areas such as domain research, data science and analytics, research data management, and researcher development and outreach. Ideally, you will also have experience with research programming languages (e.g., Python, R), digital data and computational skills (e.g., Linux, managing virtual machines), and working with sensitive data.

Remuneration
$83,300 – $97,979 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
Employment Type
Full‑time, permanent (37.5 hours per week) with a start date of January 2026.
