Flooring Installer - New Plymouth

About the Role : We're looking for a skilled and motivated Flooring Installer to join our team at Carpet Court.

Based out of our New Plymouth warehouse, in this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for installing a range of floor coverings in homes, offices, commercial sites, and more.

You'll deliver high-quality workmanship in line with industry best practices and compliance standards while creating an exceptional experience for our customers.This is a Monday - Friday position, with additional hours available if interested.

The hourly rate is $28-$32 per hour, dependent on experience.Key Duties and Responsibilities : Install floor coverings in accordance with current New Zealand Standards and industry guidelinesDeliver outstanding customer service on-site, always wearing branded gear and presenting a clean, tidy vehicleEnsure accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of all floor coveringsMaintain and care for tools, equipment, and company vehiclesActively promote and adhere to health and safety policies, including timely reporting of any incidents or near missesWork collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project deliveryYou Will Have : Proven experience in flooring installationA clean, unrestricted NZ Class 1 driver's licenceStrong working knowledge of NZ installation standards and industry best practicesExcellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitudeStrong measurement and calculation abilityGreat time management and reliabilityA team mindset – approachable, helpful, and solutions-focusedWhat We OfferA supportive, down-to-earth team culture where your work is valuedOpportunities for ongoing training and developmentBranded vehicleVariety in your day with work across different environmentsCompetitive pay and the backing of a well-known brandReady to take your flooring career to the next level?
