  • Business Development Manager.
  • You need not necessarily be based in Christchurch.This is a highly influential role responsible for both growing existing accounts and generating new business opportunities with Developers, Builders and Authorised Business Distributors (ABDs).
  • You will maintain enduring partnerships that deliver profitable growth, while also prospecting, opening new doors, and expanding Fisher & Paykel and Haier's footprint in the builder market.You'll cultivate enthusiasm and advocacy for our brands, vision and products across the builder channel—converting opportunities into wins and building long-term loyalty.

    This role combines strategic planning, business development, and operational leadership, giving you scope to influence market direction and deliver measurable results.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Actively prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities within the builder and developer sectors while growing existing customer relationships.Leading the planning and delivery of Fisher & Paykel's builder strategy, aligning with global priorities and growth aspirations.Identifying and developing integrated demand generation strategies that drive commercial sales and increase market share.Partnering strategically with Developers, Builders and ABDs to create seamless, brand-aligned experiences that convert quotes into successful placements.Attending industry events, cold calling and networking to identify new opportunities and expand market reach.Driving disciplined execution of sales plans, reporting regularly to both local and global market groups.Advocating internally for your customers, ensuring highly effective cross-functional collaboration that delivers on expectations.Champion F&P and Haier's presence in the market, consistently expanding our footprintWorking closely with the General Manager – Builder and Peers to deliver on ambitious growth targets
  • Who you are
  • You are a proven commercial sales professional with preferably three years' experience and a track record of success with proven experience prospecting and transforming leads into enduring, profitable partnerships.
  • You bring strong business planning skills, the ability to prioritise and execute effectively, and the confidence to influence at all levels.

    With a commercial mindset, you combine strategic thinking with sharp market awareness to identify opportunities and deliver profitable growth.
