Chapman Tripp's Auckland Finance Practice is looking for an intermediate level solicitor to join the team, with a focus on bonds / financial markets or bank regulation. You will be working on a range of market-leading financial markets transactions for prestigious corporate, bank and other issuer clients, including sustainable finance, bonds, regulatory capital and derivatives. This is an interesting and challenging role and will suit an enthusiastic self-starter. We expect that you will already have experience in a busy commercial law firm environment and are looking to take the next step in your career. You will have exposure with corporate finance, preferably including financial markets and advisory work. A strong academic background is a prerequisite.

Our Auckland Team has advised on notable matters including financing and advisory work for major clients.

Responsibilities

• Work on market-leading financial markets transactions for corporate, bank and other issuer clients, including sustainable finance, bonds, regulatory capital and derivatives.
• Provide exposure to corporate finance and advisory work within a financial markets context.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services in a busy environment.
