Job Description About the Role As our Talent and Early Careers Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting recruitment and early career programmes that help shape the future workforce of WM New Zealand.
From pre-employment checks and candidate sourcing to help manage our Maori Cadet and Graduate programmes, your work will help us attract, engage, and develop the best talent.
You'll be the connector across our early career pathways, supporting everything from scholarship partnerships and school visits to career exposure events.
This is a role that blends logistics, relationship management, and a strong sense of purpose.
What You'll Be Doing Providing end-to-end recruitment support to the Talent team, such as candidate sourcing, pre-employment checks and generating employment contracts.
Screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and maintaining our ATS – SmartRecruiters.
Supporting early careers programmes like our Graduate Programme, and career pathways.
Managing relationships with tertiary and education partners to deliver impactful career events and scholarship activity.
Managing our recruitment inbox and hiring manager resources.
Playing an active part in onboarding and induction for graduates, interns, and scholarship students.
Qualifications What We're Looking For An experienced talent coordinator with exceptional time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities with the confidence to juggle multiple tasks and relationships.
Someone who thrives in a people-focused role, with a keen interest in early career development.
High attention to detail and comfort working with ATS systems and Microsoft Office.
A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
