If an applicant works full-time in a centre / school and is released for this work, the Faculty will pay the centre / school for release time and pay mileage directly to the applicant.
Work is offered in 4–10 week blocks across the year. Casual supervisors don't need to be available for every block. Supervisors schedule visit times directly with centres / schools, offering flexibility. Work hours typically range from 5–9 hours per student. Supervisors must be able to visit sites across greater Auckland. Supervisors outside Auckland are also required for visiting online students in their region.
Applicants must show recent, successful classroom or centre / school leadership experience, with referees who can comment on their practice. Digital literacy and reliable internet are essential. Applications should state your teaching sector and include two referees, a CV showing teaching and student-teacher experience, and your teacher registration number.
Group interviews for Auckland-based candidates will be held on Monday 8 December.
Zoom interviews for out-of-Auckland applicants will be confirmed separately.
