Private Residential Support Worker – Flagstaff

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and strong female support worker to assist a 23-year-old woman who is non-verbal but full of joy and love.

She mobilises and eats independently, but requires support with personal cares and daily living tasks.

About the Role

Personal cares include nappy changes and showering

Food preparation and light household support

Medication administration via PEG tube (full training provided)

Epilepsy management and first aid training provided

Supporting a happy, non-aggressive young woman who enjoys companionship and routine

Work includes approximately x2 day shifts per week and x2 overnight sleeping shifts

The family is usually present in the home and values respectful teamwork and respite support

About You

Female, fit and strong (client is approximately 100 kg)

Friendly, honest, and has integrity and autonomy

Holds a full driver's licence and has reliable transportation

Comfortable undergoing police vetting

Ideally suited to someone studying health care or passionate about disability support and caring for others

Location : Flagstaff, Waikato

Hours : Part-time (days and overnights as rostered)
