We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced teacher to join Team Arakura. The right kaiako will be committed to inclusive education and to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. In particular, they will understand the need for a balanced curriculum that addresses the holistic needs of tamariki - their safety, wellbeing, identity, language, culture and academic achievement.

You will join a team that upholds the school vision and values as ways of being and you will also be committed to a relational approach to teaching and learning, that is reflective of a PB4L, restorative, and culturally responsive school. Capability in te reo Māori, and the integration of topic through structured literacy and PRIME math, will be an advantage.
