2MU + 2MMAAn opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dedicated kaiako to join our team as Leader of Learning and kaiako in the Wharekura.

In

  • , there is around 150 akonga learning within the Wharekura section of Wainuiomata High School.Leader of Learning responsibilities include : Assessment guidance across the junior and senior curriculumSupporting a team of kaiako teaching rumaki and reorua coursesMiddle leadership input across the range of academic activities within the wharekura and wider schoolIndicative kaupapa ako : Reo Maori, Hauora, Hakinakina, Nga Toi, Tikanga a-Iwi, Puoro, Putaiao, Pangarau, Hangarau.

These are flexible to exchange amongst the other kaiako and subjects we offer in

You will be supported to develop the programme of learning by other kaiako teaching the same course.
