About the Role
We are looking for an Outpatients Administrator to assist with covering weekend and after hours shifts at the Ophthalmology Department in Wellington Hospitals Outpatients.
Your main responsibilities will include greeting patients arriving at the clinic, rebooking appointments, managing the phones and liaising with Nursing Staff.
This is a very busy role supporting our clinical team in the Ophthalmology Department on an as required basis.
The salary range for this position is $72,035 - $79,573 pro-rated.
About the Team / Service Location
The Patient Administration Service (PAS) works across the District to support a patient's journey from referral through to discharge.
PAS is comprised of several difference services who each have a dedicated Team Leader :
This role will be supporting eye specialists and the clinical nursing team within the Ophthalmology Department.
We facilitate a supportive and collaborative workplace culture, with a commitment to your ongoing professional development.
You will be working closely with both clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure the service needs are met.
