You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive high-quality, patient-centred care.Key responsibilities include : -Providing comprehensive nursing care for acute surgical patients-Supporting efficient patient flow and timely interventions-Collaborating with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes-Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to professional and legal standards-Contributing to quality improvement initiatives within SAPU

To be successful in this role, you will have : -A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC) as a Registered Nurse-Experience in acute surgical or emergency nursing (preferred but not essential)-Strong critical thinking and assessment skills-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities-A commitment to culturally safe practice and working in partnership with Maori under Te Tiriti o Waitangi-A passion for continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
