Primary Care Nurse / Nurse Prescriber / NP

Overview

This is a part time or full-time, on-site Primary Care Nurse role located in Paraparaumu. The Primary Care Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare to patients including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-ups. Additionally, the nurse will coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care, provide health education to patients and families, and maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills in patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-ups
• Coordination and collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Health education and communication skills
• Documentation and record-keeping skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Nursing degree and current practicing certificate
• Experience in primary care or general practice settings is a plus
