This Clinical Coach position supports our wider strategy of building a sustainable and confident workforce in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

The Acute Care Unit at Whakatane Hospital includes a 11-bed unit comprising ICU / HDU / CCU beds and a general admission area, catering to adult and paediatric patients.

The Acute Care team works across high-dependency, intensive care, and general admission, providing care to a wide range of acute patients.

Equipped with strong ICU / HDU knowledge, the ability to coach others, and a team-focused mindset, this role suits someone ready uplift the next generation of clinical excellence.What you will bring : Current NZNC registration and Annual Practicing CertificateAt least 3 years of post-registration nursing experienceIntensive Care and / or High Dependency Unit experienceCompleted PDRP at Proficient level (or higher)Proven ability to motivate and influence othersKnowledge of evidence-based practice and adult teaching methodsComputer literacy and familiarity with clinical systemsWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
