We are a fast-growing professional cleaning company based in Auckland CBD. We provide specialist cleaning and maintenance services to commercial kitchens, restaurants, and food businesses across the region.
We are looking for a motivated General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and drive business growth. We offer a competitive wage of $23.50 - $24.00 / hour and we guaranteed minimum of 30 hours / week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of business operations to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and supervise cleaning teams, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Act as the primary contact person for clients and staff, including after-hours support for operational emergencies.
- Plan workflow, manage bookings, and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage inventory, tools, and cleaning materials — including stock control and purchasing.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers and key clients.
- Monitor business costs and assist in preparing budgets and pricing strategies to maximise profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards relevant to commercial kitchen cleaning.
- Resolve customer issues and handle feedback professionally.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and contribute to marketing or business development initiatives.
Requirements :
Minimum 10 years of managerial or operational leadership experience in a cleaning, maintenance, or service-based business.Master’s degree in business, management, or a related field (preferred).Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve performance goals.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Reliable, punctual, and willing to be hands-on when required.A positive attitude, high energy, and commitment to quality service.
