Our trained Casual Support Worker team works around the clock to support each person's individual care needs and daily living.
No qualifications or prior experience are required, as we provide comprehensive training to equip all Kaiawhina / Support Workers with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Our paid Kaiawhina Skills Framework training occurs during your first two to four weeks of employment, combining practical training, online self-directed learning, and mentorship with a buddy trainer.
Training includes :
Infection prevention and control
Moving and Handling
Medication management
Practical tasks such as personal cares, compression therapy, and meal preparation
