Caretaker

Hawea Flat School is seeking a Caretaker for a permanent position.

The hours are 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

The primary role of the Caretaker will be to ensure that the school buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard.

Being a key member of the Health & Safety Committee

Building and property maintenance (No building experience required)

Upkeep of gardens

Compliance checks and liaising with contractors

Person specification :

Enjoys a role that is very hands-on

Interpersonal and time management skills

Can interact in a professional manner with staff, students, contractors and our community

Has a high attention to detail and shows initiative

Can maintain an overall safe environment.

This role will begin Monday 2nd December 2024.

A full driver's license is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Police Vetting Check.
