Road-side Maintanence Worker

We’re looking for a Roadside Maintenance Worker to join our team in Queenstown. This is a full-time, on-call role Monday–Friday (6am–4pm, ~9hr days) and a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants long-term, stable work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

This is a bit of a lifestyle role – you’ll be out and about in stunning Queenstown, cruising around the district while helping keep the community safe, clean and presentable.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll undertake small road maintenance and urgent repair work across the district to ensure public safety. Day to day, this will include :

Responding to callouts and emergency situations

Pothole repairs

Sign maintenance and repairs

Clearing vegetation and litter

Removing obstructions from roads, footpaths, and drainage systems

What You’ll Need

Minimum Class 1 licence (Class 2 preferred)

TTM Worker / Mobile qualifications a bonus

Physically fit and ready for labouring work if required (heavy lifting)
