Due to retirement a rare opportunity has arisen. West Melton Kindergarten, Nursery and Learning Centre is seeking a warm, dedicated, and passionate qualified early childhood kaiako to join our Nursery team. This is a full-time position within a supportive, family-oriented centre where relationships and respect are at the heart of everything we do.

About the role

• Full‑time, (Monday–Friday).
• Working within our nurturing Nurseryroom.
• Planning and implementing meaningful, play-based learning experiences.
• Building trusting relationships with tamariki and their whānau.
• Contributing to our collaborative team culture and reflective practice.
• Upholding Te Whāriki and integrating Te Ao Māori into daily teaching.
• Understand and be committed to implementing the philosophy and core values within our centre.
• Positive and proactive attitude to developing learning for tamariki as well as your own.
• The ideal candidate will create a warm, responsive and stimulating environment that promotes exploration, learning and development for our tamariki.
