Precision Agriculture Consultant (Start ASAP)

Join Vantage New Zealand as a Precision Agriculture Consultant to support farmers with ag-tech solutions and data-driven insights across the South Island.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include :

• Installing and servicing agri-tech systems such as soil moisture sensors, weather stations, and yield monitors
• Managing your own customer base and building strong relationships
• Conducting soil surveys to understand on-farm variability
• Interpreting data and supporting variable rate plans in precision agronomy
• Collecting, processing, and analysing agronomic data including EM soil surveys, yield data, and satellite imagery
• Supporting delivery of precision agronomy services like soil and crop mapping, variable rate recommendations, and farm data reporting
• Providing exceptional customer service and technical support in the field
• Collaborating with the national Agri Insights team to deliver tailored client solutions
