Join Vantage New Zealand as a Precision Agriculture Consultant to support farmers with ag-tech solutions and data-driven insights across the South Island.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include :
Installing and servicing agri-tech systems such as soil moisture sensors, weather stations, and yield monitors
Managing your own customer base and building strong relationships
Conducting soil surveys to understand on-farm variability
Interpreting data and supporting variable rate plans in precision agronomy
Collecting, processing, and analysing agronomic data including EM soil surveys, yield data, and satellite imagery
Supporting delivery of precision agronomy services like soil and crop mapping, variable rate recommendations, and farm data reporting
Providing exceptional customer service and technical support in the field
Collaborating with the national Agri Insights team to deliver tailored client solutions
About You
The company is looking for :
A relevant qualification in agriculture, environmental science, agri-tech, or a related field
A strong interest in precision agriculture and agri-data
Hands-on experience in farming, agronomy, or technical fieldwork (advantageous)
A problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
A full New Zealand driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
