Based in Hamilton, New Zealand, you will take full ownership of the strategy, vision, and commercial success of Animal Fencing – blending your strategic mindset, curiosity, and commercial acumen to deliver measurable results and shape the future of the category.A Unique and Strategic Leadership RoleThis is a pivotal leadership role with scope across the following key areas : Global Strategy and Vision Lead the development and execution of the long-term strategy for Gallagher's fencing solutions, with a sharp focus on solving meaningful customer problems and driving measurable outcomes.Customer Discovery and Insight Engine Champion a culture of deep customer understanding by engaging directly with farmers, listening deeply, observing behaviours, and surfacing unmet needs.

Build a structured insight engine that combines research, behavioural data, and market signals to uncover pain points and latent opportunities.Product Portfolio Ownership and Commercial Accountability Take ownership of the P&L, category strategy, and product roadmap.

Govern the portfolio through outcome-based prioritisation and quarterly planning to ensure focus on the highest-value initiatives.Innovation Across the System Translate insights into differentiated solutions that blend physical products, services, digital tools, and business models.
