Mō te tūranga | What you’ll be doing

The Renewable Construction team is responsible for detailed design, procurement (including strategy, contract preparation, tendering, negotiations and award of key contracts), site construction works, commissioning and handover of Meridian’s new generation sites. The team works closely with iwi, stakeholders, consultants, suppliers, regional authorities, contractors and other teams within Meridian. You will be :

• Providing engineering procurement and contracting support for major renewable energy construction projects;
• Developing contracts and technical schedules (including specifications) for the procurement of renewable generation technologies (wind, solar, BESS) and assisting in negotiations with key suppliers and contractors;
• Providing technical advice and input into the key interfaces between workstreams and contracts to ensure that design integration, risk and programme are well understood and managed for the projects;
• Building and maintaining relationships with international suppliers of renewable generation technology;
• Providing contract engineering and administration support to site teams during the construction phase of the projects.
