Land Development Engineer – Waimakariri District Council

About The Role

Join the Land Development Team in our Project Delivery Unit and help deliver engineering services that support land development across the district.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to contribute to sustainable growth in a thriving district.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering advice to the Planning Unit on resource consent applications.

Review development designs and engineering plans.

Undertake audit inspections of engineering works on-site to ensure compliance with resource consent conditions.

Collaborate with developers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

About You

A relevant qualification in Civil or Natural Resources Engineering.

At least five years' experience in the engineering field.

Strong technical knowledge of civil and environmental engineering practices.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A good team player, able to collaborate with other team members.
