Due to internal development, a rare opportunity has arisen in the Fruitfed Supplies business for a new Area Sales Manager to oversee the Sales Representatives, as well as the Cambridge and Pukekohe store networks.About the Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you'll lead our dedicated teams, drive sustainable sales growth across both horticulture and agriculture, and strengthen relationships with clients across the region.
You'll coach and engage field and store staff, creating a team culture where customer service and delivery, as well as achieving results, are key.
You'll have the support of colleagues from the wider Retail Group, including our in-house Technical, Category, and Marketing teams, and you'll enjoy working as part of a close-knit national team of Area Sales Managers.

Ideally, you'll have the following :
Proven sales management experienceUnderstanding of, and experience within, the Horticulture and or Agri-business sectorA passion for leadership, coaching and developing direct reports and teamsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and build effective internal and external partnershipsA range of management skills - including financial acumen, compliance, risk management, continuous improvement and most importantly, a passion for salesWillingness to travel throughout the region frequently and occasionally nationally.
