About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a sole-charge finance role with real influence.
As the Company Accountant, you'll oversee the full finance function and work closely with the senior leadership team to drive decision-making.
With a planned handover period before the current accountant retires, you'll have the chance to embed yourself into the business and hit the ground running.
This is a hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full accounting function including general ledger, P&L, balance sheet, and monthly reporting
Prepare board packs and provide financial insights to support executive decision-making
Run end-to-end payroll and ensure compliance across GST, PAYE, and other tax obligations
Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, supplier payments, and expenses

So who are you and what is your profile?
You're a commercially minded CA-qualified accountant who's confident in a sole-charge role and comfortable translating numbers into insights.
With at least five years' experience, you've worked across the full accounting cycle and enjoy being hands-on.
You're approachable, open, and values-driven.
You are someone who thrives in a team but is equally comfortable working independently.
You bring structure, reliability, and clear communication, and you enjoy contributing beyond the numbers.
