Our Commercial Operations team offer our Co-op a pick n mix of solutions across commercial finance, store ownership funding, financial planning management, data analysis reporting, accounting transactional services including payroll, AR AP master data solutions.
Te Turanga – About the role Our Group Finance team is our centre of excellence for all accounting, external financial reporting, tax, fixed assets, and financial due diligence for Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI) Ltd and its related entities.
As one of our Senior Financial Accountants, you'll be a key member of the group working collaboratively and across team to achieve results.
Reporting into the Group Accounting Manager, your core responsibilities will be the financial accounting and reporting of the wider FSNI Group, which includes Trusts wholly owned Subsidiaries, Associates and National Joint Ventures including but not limited to :

He korero mou - About you You will be a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent), have solid experience to offer and be systems savvy (SAP experience would be super cool but not essential), with strong problem-solving abilities and an inquisitive mind!
We are a large complex business with significant interests in Property and IT, so any previous experience in these areas would be beneficial.
We are looking for someone who is curious and leaves no stone unturned but is also confident to challenge the status quo and suggests improvement initiatives and encourages thinking differently.
It goes without saying you will be methodical, organised, comfortable working and analysing independently, but most importantly you will appreciate strategic imperatives while operating effectively at an operational level, taking ownership and responsibility for action.
