OverviewClient Services Advisor | MBIE Customer Service Centre, Central - WellingtonMBIE's Customer Service Centre (MCSC) manages customer service across New Zealand through a wide variety of platforms and systems.
These are predominantly inbound calls but can also include processing of tenancy bond transactions, delivering high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders and working across the Customer Service Delivery Branch.
We're looking for adaptable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Client Services Advisors (CSAs).
In this role, you'll assist clients across a broad spectrum of services, including Tenancy Bond Services, Companies, Consumer & Commerce, Employment Services, EWRB and Immigration NZ.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Wellington with a starting salary of $60,727 per annum with progression available.
The role supports a transformation-focused environment aimed at improving end-to-end customer processing.
ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service over the phone and via email, delivering end-to-end support to people from all walks of life.Assist clients across a broad spectrum of services including Tenancy Bond Services, Companies, Consumer & Commerce, Employment Services, EWRB and Immigration NZ.Participate in the transformation goals for Tenancy Bond Services and the MBIE Customer Service Centre, contributing to end-to-end customer processing initiatives.Build relationships within the organisation and provide reliable service in a fast-paced environment.Skills and qualificationsProven experience in customer service, preferably in a contact centre or similar environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to navigate multiple electronic systems and maintain information accurately to meet reporting requirements.Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyse information quickly and provide concise, correct information.Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations and to build rapport with diverse communities.Reliable team member with a customer-centric approach; able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and learn technical information quickly.At the time of application, must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.Hours and locationRoles are permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Saturday.
Shifts are 8 hours and include an unpaid 30-minute break between 6 : 00 am and 10 : 00 pm.
The MBIE Customer Service Centre operates 24 / 7; flexibility with working hours is required.
