Laboratory Technician - Specimen Reception (Start ASAP)

Awanui Veterinary and Scientific seeks a full-time Laboratory Technician in Auckland to manage specimen reception with accuracy and excellent client service.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing :

• Receive, sort, and register incoming specimens accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service, assisting clients and internal teams as needed.
• Collaborate with the Specimen Reception team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow laboratory protocols and quality standards to maintain sample integrity.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting process enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients regarding sample queries or issues.
• Assist with general administrative tasks related to specimen handling and documentation.
