About the Role
Are you a qualified Anaesthetic Technician, RNNA, or ODP ready to take your career to the next level?
Join General Surgical Unit at Greenlane Clinical Centre and you will be part of a great team of diverse, high performing and supportive health professionals who all have a common passion and enthusiasm to help you succeed.
You will be responsible for efficient, effective and safe patient care delivery as follows :
Provide professional assistance to anaesthetists and work in partnership with the MDT to ensure positive patient outcomesManage resources and equipment for delivering a patient and whanau centred careShare knowledge and experience within the teamEnsure timely Trakcare documentation to ensure efficient patient flow and dischargesActively contribute to organisational goals for eliminating health inequalities for Maori and Pasifika patientsReflect and demonstrate the values of Te Toka Tumai Auckland in daily practiceProvide competent support to your team and perioperative practice students in conjunction with your educators and charge anaesthetic technician
You will be a qualified anaesthesia support health professional with a relevant qualification e.g experienced Anaesthetic Technician, ODP, or RNAA with minimum two years of post-qualification experience and will meet the following :
Currently hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand ( / ) or current APC with Nursing Council of NZBe flexible and resilientDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills and teamworkBe an excellent communicator and have high quality interactions with the MDT and staff.Be proactive at identifying issues, escalation and problem solving these.Be passionate, driven and focused on quality and excellenceHave a proven track record for setting high ethical and professional standardsDemonstrate an understanding of and able to apply the Treaty of Waitangi principles of Tino Rangatiratanga, Equity, Active protection, partnership, and Options for our communities
