• , supporting new graduates during their first 6 months in physical health.Transition into a well-established rotational program covering orthopaedic, medical wards, inpatient rehabilitation, neurology / neurosurgery, community therapies, and community rehabilitation.Work across Wellington Regional Hospital, Hutt Valley Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, and community services within the district.Gain experience in both tertiary and community hospital settings.Engage in a structured mentoring program with clear clinical competencies guided by an Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator.Collaborate with allied health teams, supported by Clinical Educators and Team Leaders.About YouThe company is looking for : Registration and current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with the Occupational Therapy Board NZ.Excellent time management skills, problem-solving ability, and initiative.A clear understanding of the health needs of Maori and Pacific Island communities.Ability to build rapport with patients, whanau, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.A commitment to ongoing, self-driven learning and development.New Zealand driver's licence.Training & DevelopmentStructured Occupational Therapy Entry to Practice program providing support, structure, and clinical education for new graduates.Ongoing mentoring and clinical education overseen by an Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator.Opportunities to develop clinical competencies across multiple clinical areas and settings.Career ProgressionTransition from the Entry to Practice program into a broader rotational program across multiple clinical areas and hospital / community settings.Experience working with diverse teams and leadership from dedicated Team Leaders in the Capital City region.How to ApplySubmit your application through the online careers portal by the specified deadline.
