As the Digital Design Lead, you will be a strategic partner who connects teams and champions the role of Channel Design in shaping exceptional customer experiences.

You'll bring a broad and deep toolkit, from service design and systems thinking to detailed UX flows, applying it to scalable, sustainable practices that support enterprise-wide transformation.

You lead, contribute, and enable others depending on the context, working closely with designers and key stakeholders to drive outcomes, shift mindsets, and build future-ready capability across the organisation.

Na tau rourou | What will you bring?

Around 8+ years of experience in design roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or leadership capacity.

Proven ability to operate across multiple domains, adapting to lead, deliver, and connect as needed.

Strong enterprise-level design experience, with the ability to link strategic intent to practical execution.

Deep knowledge of human-centred design methods, from discovery through delivery.

Skilled in applying service design, systems thinking, and UX practices to complex problems.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to influence and articulate design value to diverse audiences.

Demonstrated experience driving conversations and outcomes in collaborative, multi-disciplinary environments.

Ability to work effectively in agile or iterative delivery contexts.

Comfortable switching between leadership and hands-on design work, depending on what the situation calls for.

Experience with design systems and governance frameworks at scale.

Familiarity with digital accessibility and inclusive design principles.

Exposure to data-informed design practices and measurement of design impact.
