We’re looking for an individual who will help support our ambition of building a world-class, high-performing business analysis practice and grow our craft maturity to lead the industry. As a People Lead, you will ensure the capabilities, performance, training requirements, career planning, and development needs are catered for to build a high-performance and ‘can do’ culture. You will provide coaching and mentoring to staff within the team and promote appropriate business area culture, policy, processes, and standard practices. You will develop fit‑for‑purpose and effective workforce management to meet business demand, including recruitment, diversity development, onboarding, and off‑boarding.

Na tōu rourou | What will you bring?

• 5+ years of people management skills in a previous role, with strong experience in developing and maturing a craft.
• 6+ years’ previous experience in a Senior business analyst role with a strong delivery record, including large‑scale enterprise transformation change initiatives preferable.
• Outstanding people leadership skills, ability to develop high‑performing teams and take people on a journey.
• Great understanding and knowledge of business analysis practices, and ability to improve practice maturity preferred.
• Strong coach, mentor, and ability to grow and develop both teams and individuals.
• A growth mindset with the ability to drive change through a large organisation using multi‑modal approaches.
• Agile mindset – adaptable to change, collaboration, maintains focus on continuous improvement, and continuous delivery of business and customer value.
• Experience working in the complex services industry (Banking, Insurance, Payments, Utilities or Public services would be advantageous).
• Experience working in the space between business and technology and being able to articulate customer outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to guide individuals to fast and effective outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
