General Description Of The Role
As the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis for Campari New Zealand, you will lead the monthly / annual planning and reporting process to deliver strategic financial insights, drive performance, and support decision-making across the business.
You will be a key business partner to senior leadership, ensuring financial planning, forecasting, and analysis are aligned with Campari's global standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities And Activities
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
Develop and maintain dynamic financial models for scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
Provide strategic insights to support commercial and operational decision-making.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Deliver timely and accurate monthly performance reports, including variance analysis and commentary.
Own the development and continuous improvement of management reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
Ensure alignment between P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts.
Business Partnering
Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams to embed financial insights into strategic initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Finance Director and senior leadership team.
Leadership & Development
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
Drive automation and process enhancements across financial planning and reporting.
Systems & Process Optimization
Champion the use of financial systems and tools to improve data integrity and reporting efficiency.
Support the integration of global finance systems and processes within the local market.
Key Relationships
Internal : NZ Leadership Team, Marketing, Supply Chain, Region finance team, Internal Auditors.
External : External Auditors.
Experience Required
10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within FMCG or beverage / alcohol sectors.
Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role.
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications & Licenses Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA / CPA or equivalent preferred.
