The role
As Head of Architecture, you’ll set the strategic direction for enterprise architecture at Vector, guiding governance and execution to enable business transformation. You’ll bridge business strategy and technology, empowering informed decisions and driving operational success. Success in this role means creating capacity, accelerating delivery, and delivering real value through technology leadership.
On a typical week you can expect to :
Lead the development and execution of enterprise architecture to support transformation and operational excellence.Advise executives and delivery teams, balancing governance with practical delivery support.Shape and evolve the architecture roadmap, including solution design, process mapping, and technology standards.Simplify, mitigate risk, and enable informed decision‑making through architectural insights.Mentor and develop a team of architects, fostering collaboration and capability.Guide adoption of architecture tools and integration platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Microservices).Represent architecture in governance forums and transformation committees.Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and data governance in architectural decisions.Support delivery speed and alignment with enterprise goals, focusing on business execution.Who are we looking for?
10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with hands‑on expertise across multiple technology domains and a background in operational business environments.Skilled in communicating architectural value and building trusted relationships at all levels.A senior technology leader with practical delivery experience and a genuine commitment to supporting teams.Operates confidently at both strategic and delivery levels, aligning long‑term vision with hands‑on execution.Commercially savvy, with a strong understanding of operational industries and dynamic cost structures.Demonstrates a growth mindset, always seeking improvement and open to learning from others.An excellent communicator and collaborator who fosters a positive and inclusive environment.Experienced in automation and modern, agile architecture practices.Approaches work with humility and openness, valuing team achievements.Why Vector
