Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager from a contractor background to take ownership of long-duration projects across New Zealand. This is a national project delivery role, often in rural locations, with project delivery periods ranging from small scale 6+ months to large scale 3+ years. You’ll be the driving force ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality.

What you’ll do
Lead site management from planning to delivery, ensuring compliance with quality, H&S, and budget requirements.Manage subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining performance and resolving issues on-site.Develop and implement site setup, logistics, and movement strategies for labour, plant, and materials.Deliver and monitor project programmes, reporting regularly to stakeholders.Drive effective QA, risk management, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.Demonstrate visible leadership in health, safety, and environmental standards.What you’ll bring
Proven contractor-side Site Management experience (minimum 3 years).Strong subcontractor management and quality assurance experience.Knowledge of NZ building standards, site safety practices, and regulatory requirements.Skilled in interpreting drawings, specs, and managing construction methodologies.Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in construction (LBP / Level 4 Cert desirable).Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.Flexibility to travel nationally and work in rural project locations (Living Away From Home basis).Positive outlook, high energy, and a team-first approach.Full, clean NZ driver’s license and valid work rights.Apply now.
