We are seeking a passionate and highly experienced counsellor to join our team in a fixed-term full-time position for two years.
The successful candidate will
Contribute to a team spirit of collaboration amongst staff, engage in reflective practice and have a willingness to participate in the corporate life of the school
Possess a minimum of a Level 6 qualification in counselling
Hold current membership with NZAC.
Be prepared to undertake regular ongoing supervision from a professional counselling supervisor
Have an understanding of school systems and contexts
Hold New Zealand residency at the time of application.
Have a proven ability to promote the value of cultural diversity and honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Acknowledge and respect diversity
Be a skilled communicator
Demonstrate ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
