Our Takapuna office is seeking an empathetic, experienced Counsellor for a fulfilling opportunity, giving you the tools you need to support people the way they deserve to be taken care of – the Habit Health way.
This is a full-time permanent role.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver focused interventions so that clients ace coping mechanisms at work and life
Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth
Deliver training to customer employees

The Ideal Candidate
A strong sense of others – we're looking for sensitivity and empathy as traits
Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCA
Tertiary level 7 Counselling or related qualification and a minimum of five years of post-study experience in general counselling is required.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT, CBT, FACT is desirable
Can work independently and attend on-sites for psychological first aid.
Experience in trauma intervention, psychological first-aid
