Then this could be the position for you.As part of our ongoing commitment to inspiring students and communities to succeed, UCOL is seeking a highly motivated lecturer, or suitably qualified professional to support delivery of our Trades Academy / U-Skills NZC in Cookery Level 3 and Café Skills Level 2.

You will also support delivery of our Cookery Level 4 programme as required.This is a permanent 40 hours / week position.

The successful candidate will be a qualified chef with a relevant industry qualification (e.g. minimum NZ Certificate Cookery Level 4 or equivalent) with hands-on experience in hospitality / barista, stock control and ordering; training and supporting staff within a senior role.It would be a strong advantage if you hold the NZ Certificate in Adult Literacy & Numeracy Education (NZCALNE), the NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (NZCAT) or equivalent and unit

We require you to be hands on, facilitating one on one learning, mentoring, motivating and working with students both individually and as a group, so your well-tuned rapport and communication skills will be required.

As well as working with a dynamic team you will have the full support of the Academic Portfolio Manager with all delivery resources and practical assessments fully developed.We want your energy, creativity, passion and intelligence.
