Overview

We seek an HOD of physical education who is forward thinking and energetic.

We require a leader who is focused on exceptional student outcomes and one who can build strong relationships within the department.

Responsibilities and requirements

The successful applicant will be experienced teaching senior physical education and health, as well as core physical education and health, and will be willing to teach at all levels.

Experience teaching towards NCEA and / or CAIE would be an advantage but is not a requirement of appointment.

The successful applicant will be committed to continuing to develop professionally, including developing strong leadership skills.

They will also need to be actively involved in strategic planning for curriculum growth and change.

A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular programme of the school is an expectation.
