CHS serves the varied academic, trades, cultural and sporting needs of our students.We are looking for an innovative, energetic and relationship focused health and physical education teacher to join our collegial faculty.
The ideal candidate will have strengths in developing culturally responsive practice, the ability to teach the senior physical education curriculum and an enthusiasm for creating a curriculum relevant to our students.
The PE faculty have a reputation for building positive relationships and maintaining high expectations with all students; proficiency in behaviour management strategies would be an advantage.This is a full-time fixed-term position starting 28 January 2026 and is appropriate for all levels of experience.
We are seeking to secure an appointment as soon as possible and will interview selected applicants as applications are received.The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement.
The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience.
