Starting salary : $118,609 - $160,471 + KiwiSaver

The role | Te tūnga

This is a permanent role based in Wellington or Christchurch reporting to the Head of ICT Architecture. You will be part of a team supporting our “Deliver 2030” transformative Programme which includes Census, Monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) Measuring a Modern Economy (MME), and Integrated Data for Social Investment. All significant programmes that will have a lasting impact for Aotearoa.

Your responsibilities include producing high‑level and target state architecture design, fit‑gap analysis across systems and platforms, technology selection and integration planning, architect solutions, aligning data strategies with business goals, and providing technical leadership across multiple initiatives consistent with Stats NZ ICT architecture guidance.
