Run what runs the world.This Position reports to : Service ManagerRole and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Join us as Senior Field Service Technician and you'll contribute to ABB's Motion Business Area in our Auckland Service Centre based in Mt Wellington, Auckland.

You will execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines.

You'll deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation.

You will showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.Work model : onsite and will involve regular travel to customer sites in a variety of locations across New Zealand.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming field service tasks, commissioning, upgrades, maintenance and product supportTroubleshooting equipment / process failures, proactive corrective actions and recommendationsPreparing actions needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activitiesWorking with the customer to improve the customer's operations and reliability, reporting and recommendationsQualificationsYou are highly skilled in research and able to articulate technical documents and electrical schematicsYou have 5 years of experience in relevant field working with power electronics, power converters, automation and industrial controlsPrevious experience with ABB motion products e.g Drives, Motors, ControlsPossess an enhanced knowledge in industrial and marine electrical systems and maintenanceNZ Electrical Practicing License or International equivalent.
