Join Health New Zealand as an Occupational Therapist in a 2-year fixed-term rotational program across Wellington, Hutt, and Kenepuru hospitals.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include :
- Participate in the Occupational Therapy Entry to Practice Program launching in 2026, supporting new graduates during their first 6 months in physical health.
- Transition into a well-established rotational program covering orthopaedic, medical wards, inpatient rehabilitation, neurology / neurosurgery, community therapies, and community rehabilitation.
- Work across Wellington Regional Hospital, Hutt Valley Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, and community services within the district.
- Gain experience in both tertiary and community hospital settings.
- Engage in a structured mentoring program with clear clinical competencies guided by an Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator.
- Collaborate with allied health teams, supported by Clinical Educators and Team Leaders.
