Job descriptionMassaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing. Utilizing a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury. Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension. Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice. Applying other techniques, such as acupressure or shiatsu, and complementary aids, such as wet compresses, ice, essential oils and herbal therapies, to assist recovery. Assessing client's physical condition and case history and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques. Making sure the working area is clean, and equipment is sterilized to meet hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Keeping track of stock level.
We are looking for 5 Massage Therapists in the therapying massage field to perform routine tasks to the quality standards.
Working location : Lower Hutt and Wellington
Type : Full-time
Working hours : 30 to 40 hours per week
Payment : $27 to $32 per hour
What you’ll need to be a successful applicant :
- 2 years relevant experience or level 4 or above relevant qualification.
- Must be able to work on weekends and be flexible for the shifts.
- Be reliable, responsible, punctual, and full commitment is required.
- Physically fit the job and can perform good massage techniques on clients.
