We're on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated, Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wellington!
About the role
Reporting to your Team Leader, you'll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.
Vocational Rehabilitation (SAW & BTW)
Confident delivering workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work plans and task analysis
Knowledge of vocational services pathways
Community Rehabilitation Services
Provide rehabilitation and support to individuals within their community
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their rehab goals
Knowledge of community services pathways
Concussion Service
Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team
Training For Independence (TI)
Able to deliver individual community rehabilitation programmes focussed on independence and function
Skilled in delivering home and community-based functional rehabilitation
Ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with the wider multi-disciplinary team
Pain Management Services (PMS)
Experience working in inter-disciplinary teams to support people living with persistent pain
Skilled in behaviour change, pacing strategies, and education in self-management
Understanding of biopsychosocial approaches
Social Rehabilitation Needs Assessment (SRNA)
Skilled in functional needs assessments and service recommendations to support independence
Strong understanding of ACC service entitlements and linking clients to appropriate supports
Experience writing high-quality reports and justifying clinical reasoning
Physiotherapy Services
Experience in musculoskeletal, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation (delete as appropriate)
Experience in delivering gym-based, home-based, and functional rehabilitation programmes
Skilled in assessing movement patterns and progressing strength and mobility
