The Opportunity
This role is in our New Zealand sales team. Our customers are transforming to become more customer centric. This involves investment in CRM solutions. This role is focused on finding these Billing + CRM opportunities and owning the entire lifecycle of the deal. From building an initial sales strategy, presenting initial value propositions, working with customers to build a business case for funding, then working through procurement processes then work with our delivery teams to deliver the value. You will need to build relationships with customers and also their IT and software partners and build a network of water consultants. You do not need to be “technical ” but you do need to want to understand the detail of your customers business and how our technology helps .
The initial focus is our customer base of a few utility companies, followed by helping our growth leader establish new logo sales of the same solution.
The Specifics
To carry out your go to market strategies you will be empowered to provide indirect leadership of Gentrack’s delivery teams, solutions architects and pre-sales.
What we're looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all,
we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you) :
Knowledge of Gentrack’s g2 solution, or Salesforce CRM for utilities, is an advantage. Having worked in the customer / retail side of the water industry or having a keen, demonstrable enthusiasm for learning this quickly, is essential.
