As the production hub for over 50 bars, pubs, and restaurants across The North Island, Central Kitchen ensures consistency and excellence in every dish, delivering fresh and innovative cuisine to fuel unforgettable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
We are on the hunt for an Apprentice Chef who is passionate about food and eager to learn. This entry-level role is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen while working towards your National Certificate in Cookery (Level 4). You'll receive top-notch training and mentorship from our talented chefs, mastering essential cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and the art of food preparation and presentation. This isn't a role for the faint-hearted; you’ll be right in the thick of the action, assisting with the preparation and cooking of delicious dishes while completing your theory coursework. There will also be opportunity to work across our numerous venues in Wellington to further develop your skills in different cuisines.
