To be successful in this role, you will have experience as an ECE centre teacher and a good understanding of the NZ ECE Curriculum.An ideal candidate will have : Experience working with children in an early childhood centre.NZQA recognized degree in ECE teaching and current registrationKnowledge of Early Childhood Education theories and strategies.An understanding of processes relating to children's ongoing learning, care and wellbeing in relation to Individual Education Plans.Ability to prepare the learning spaces with play provocations to inspire our tamariki.Commitment to working as a team member.Willingness to continue professional development to strengthen teaching and leadership skills.Ability to foster children's self-development, to undertake child observations, and contribute to programme planning.To be successful in this role, you'll be a compassionate and empathetic person.
